Dragon Basic- Flash2AdvanceUltra game development

Introduction to Flash2AdvanceUltra Development part1

In this post we'll introduce a making games for your flash cart. WE think playing games is fun but making games fantastic. Hmm.. some of you might think "how do I start programming for the GBA? I've never learned any programming languages." Well there is absolutly no need to learn C++ if you want to start making games.

Making games for the GBA can be easily done with the Basic programming language (Originally devised as an easy-to-use programming language).

The development Kit: Dragon Basic (Which it's development unfortunatly
has stopped) allows you to make great platform games. However I would recommend newbies who whould like to make a simple "hello world" program or even start making a first gba game to use DragonBasic.

Well here is a short introduction to the IDE.

We think it is a pitty this great Development Kit for the GBA isn't updated anymore.
Things you should know about DragonBasic.
-The official DragonBasic site is dead
-Cannot find any download of DragonBasic on the web anymore.
-DragonBasic has got a IDE (see picture above)
-I use a limited version of DragonBasic which allows you to build roms less than 128 Kb.

The limited version can be downloaded from our site.
-All docs and tutorials included

Please download from the links section of our web. Or download
